Dummen Orange - De Lier, the Netherlands


Dümmen Orange NA is a worldwide floriculture breeding leader, active in a wide range of products for garden and interior decoration:  cut-flowers, bedding plants and pot plants.  

Dümmen Orange is the result of the 2013 merge between Agribio Group (with well known brands like Fides, Barberet & Blanc, Ecke ranch and others) and Dümmen Group (Red Fox being the most  renowned  brand).

Dümmen Orange focus is on aggressive growth through cutting edge innovation to be brought to the growers through superior supply chain capabilities and performance. Ultimately the consumers get the benefits of such innovations.  

Interim General Management
A merge process always brings to the surface the differences in culture, organization, management styles and motivations. 

A good merge recognizes those aspects in an early stage and transform a potential threat in the  opportunity to become a much stronger company. 

The assignment  was focused on re-creating a stronger leadership within Fides/Agribio and on managing the integration process  with the Dümmen Group in the fields of organization, processes, culture and motivations.





Koppert Cress - Monster, The Netherlands


Koppert Cress is the very innovative company that brought a revolution in the high class gastronomy with its collection of Micro-vegetables, which is presented as “Architecture Aromatique”. It is a wide range of cresses, leaves and flowers out of very special and unique plants, which each have their own specific effect on the senses. Flavor, fragrance, feel or presentation, there is cress for all and each of them gives the final touch to the dishes of the best chefs in the top restaurants in the world.

Interim Sales & Marketing management
During a period of strong sales growth and organization turbulence, the intervention has been focused in re-aligning the S&M organization with the other departments in the company. Organization was upgraded and stabilized. Processes were strengthened. The ground was prepared for the new S&M manager. This process anticipated the significant expansion of the production capacity in high tech facilities. The company continues to grow in a sustained way.





Pop Vriend Seeds - Andijk, The Netherlands


Pop Vriend Seeds is a vegetable seeds company, a global leader in crops like Spinach and Green Beans, among others. Pop Vriend breeds and create unique and innovative varieties of vegetables to serve the segments of Fresh Market, Convenience food (“ready to use” baby leafs bags) as well as the frozen and canned industry.

Innovation, speed to market and customer care are core values to this third generation family company founded in 1956.

Transition & Change management
After years of sustained growth the company was faced with a stretched organization and in need for a business strategy review. In order to prepare Pop Vriend Seeds for further growth a (Transition & Change management) (T&CM) intervention took place to support management to further professionalize their business processes, strengthen the organization and define a solid strategic road to the future.
